Blagz! Pokz! my PC. bow

Its been just a day or two since our PC had brought back home from being repaired. But now, as I got home, I was struck hard by the absence of the system unit of the PC in our sala.

"Mark," I called my brother. "Where's the system unit?"

"Its been trashed out!"

What? Unsa daw? The system unit had been trashed out. I thought and I was caught speechless for a minute and my brother continued.

"Papa said he will buy a new one."

Char! Daghang kuwarta! Would he really buy a new one?

I, speechless, just went in the room.

It's really not that important why I wanted to have our PC back. But I have somethings to accomplish this vacation. And with the absence of my friend, I don't know how I will handle such "goals" in my mind. *sigh*

Oh well, gonna live with that fact that I can't accomplish the things I wanted to do. :( ^^

P.S.

I will be resuming the DAILY QUOTES tomorrow morning and other posts as well. So, watch out!

Kadtong nag-sugod na og patuman na mag-brown-out najud, nag-pagawas ang ILPI (Iligan Light and Power 'Palong') Inc og schedule sa brown-out matag-lugar. Okay na kay makabalo ta kanus-a mag-computer, mag-tan-aw og mga unsa-gud-ng-gusto-nimo-tan-awon na mga salida para dili sab ta maahat na wala pa kasulod ang bida sa iyang lungga (I see what you did there... :p hahaha). Aha man ang hustisya dinha?

...walay klaro.

Klaroha na para ma-klaro sab atong future.

Peek 'N Berry: How I perceive you

This morning I, with friends, went to Peek 'N Berry after finishing some of our works at school and decided to take some lunch. Actually, I've been here to a couple of times. But, when I remembered that I gave been writing reviews I tried to take some details on the service they are giving to their costumers. We were disappointed then. Why?
  • Their crews serve so slow. Peek 'N Berry is a fast food establishment, therefore their costumers going here were really hungry and had resorted to them expecting a really fast service. But that it wasn't what we expected from them.
  • The way they serve doesn't impress us. They served the first batch of our orders in a glass bowl. No problem. But the next was unforgivable. Instead of giving us our orders in the same bowls they served first, they have it in a styro-bowls. Why? Haven't they washed the other bowls which supposed to be done? Why styro? Bad.
Their food is undoubtedly delicious. There's no issue on that. What we try to assess here now is the type service they give to customers. We see a problem in that aspect. They might consider to enhance that part.

Maybe it was just that time when they failed to serve us well.A second and third visit might be the safest way to have a final conclusion. But as for this moment, I can say, they are bad.

RATING:
5/10

Quote for the day 03/25/12

A young man is so strong, so mad, so certain, and so lost. He has everything and he is able to use nothing.
                     -Thomas Wolfe

Sa lugar nga TUBIGON...

Iligan City, the City of Waterfalls. Ang Iligan sab, through hydro plants sa the falls, and ga-supply og kuryente sa tibuok Mindanao. Impressive noh?

Amaw no?

Quote for the Day 03/24/12

All successful newspapers are ceaselessly querulous and bellicose. They never defend anyone or anything if they can help it; if the job is forced on them, they tackle it by denouncing someone or something else.

(Review) The Legend of Korra

After the awesome Nickelodeon animation TV series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, another action-bending TV series will be launched this April 14, 2012. The Legend of Korra. The new animated TV series is set in the same fictional world as the Avatar and is 70 years after the defeat of King Ozai and Princess Azula. Korra, the protagonist, will be the next Avatar and in her way to learn Air bending.

I already watched the first episode (premiere on 14th of April 2012), Welcome to the Republic City, and was amazed and felt reunited by the old characters in their old "state". It was fun and action-packed.

Below are the list of characters in the new TV series (Wikipedia):
  • Korra is the main protagonist of the series and the next Avatar, after Aang. She is a hot-headed 17-year-old from the Southern Water Tribe, described as "ready to take on the world." Before the beginning of the series, she has already mastered Waterbending, Earthbending, and Firebending, and must learn Airbending from Tenzin, who is the youngest son of Aang and Katara. Korra has a polar bear dog named Naga as her animal guide. According to the character bios that Nick has released, polar bear dogs are wild, but Korra managed to tame one.
  • Mako  is a firebender and one of Korra's friends. He is described as "dark and brooding", having grown up on the streets with his younger brother Bolin, but he participates in pro-bending tournaments in the hopes of winning the big jackpot
  • Bolin is another of Korra's friends, an earthbender, and Mako's younger brother. In contrast to Mako, Bolin is often light-hearted and humorous. He also participates in pro-bending, the most popular sport in Republic City, in the hopes of escaping their life on the streets
  • Tenzin is Korra's airbending master. He is the youngest of Aang and Katara's three children, and the only one who is an airbender. He has three children himself who are all airbenders, with a fourth on the way.
  • Chief Lin Bei Fong is Toph Bei Fong's daughter and head of the Republic City police. The police use metalbending to subdue criminals, taught to them by Toph herself. Unlike other characters, Lin feels Korra is a threat to Republic City and tries her best to contain the Avatar's often destructive fights.
  • Jinora is Tenzin's eldest daughter, an airbender, and an avid reader.
  • Ikki is Tenzin's youngest daughter, second child, and described as "fun, crazy, and a fast talker". Ikki is also an airbender.
  • Meelo is Tenzin's only son and the youngest of his three children. Meelo resembles Aang (his grandfather) and is described as erratic or active, in contrast to his solemn father. Like his sisters, Meelo is an airbender.
  • Pema is Tenzin's wife, a non-bender, and the mother of Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo. At the start of the series, she is pregnant with their fourth child, who she hopes will be a non-bender like her. But the children's grandmother, Katara, senses another airbender, to Pema's dismay.
  • Amon is a mysterious masked man who leads "the Equalists", an anti-bending organization which uses chi-blocking skills to subdue their foes. He has been confirmed as the major antagonist of the series.
  • Naga is Korra's female Polar Bear Dog and animal guide. The polar bear-dog was created during the early stages of the original Avatar: The Last Airbender, but was not included, but the creators wrote in their book that they thought it would pop up somewhere.
  • Pabu is Bolin's black-footed red panda ferret (Fire Ferret). He is mischievous and assists Bolin in pranks on Mako.
  • Katara is one of the few surviving cast members of the first series, now an elderly woman.
  • Hiroshi Sato is a barrel-chested businessman with a big personality. His family lineage extends back to the first Fire Nation colonists. He initially grew up poor, but developed and mass-produced the "satomobile", the Republic City equivalent of the Model-T. He is also the father of Asami Sato.
  • Asami Sato is a young non-bender and daughter of Hiroshi Sato. Asami has lived a life of luxury, but despite this, her fancy clothes, and polite manners, she also can be tough. She is an expert driver and isn't afraid to mix it up on the racetrack. Asami has also had the best self-defense training money can buy and is also a big fan of pro-bending and goes to every match.
  • Lieutenant , second-in-command to Amon. He is an intense, disciplined fighter who augments his amazing skills with two electrified kali sticks.

Maayo pa man ning dalana."

Example, kanang dalan dinha sa Manuang (talipapa), kanang dalan padulong Bara-as og Tipanoy.

...and the Lourd is in my hand!

After sighting this book at BookSale for three weeks now, I just recently bought it in a reasonable price. Reasonable because of the "enlightenment" you might ponder on some of his essays while enjoying the humors revolving in his every words. I'm now starting to read this book of Mr. de Veyra, and so far it makes me laugh and shout and nod to every argument he imposes. Wonderful.  (still reading)

Online Job

I never expect to have an online job. You are right. I just had my job about a week ago and I thought that having a job will be impossible. But, no, I just have one. I thought it is a very easy job to be working online and eating some of your hours just working, but this isn't a joke. It is a very tough work though. For now, I've managed to deliver the work as instructed and I will be doing it for months, I think.

Why in the earth am I doing a job like this? Simple. I wanted to buy something for myself. I want to buy A Kindle Fire. And for a start, I will be working for that. If successful, I'll next buy a Canon 7D or anything as long as it is a DSLR camera. I don't want to be dependent to my parents and I will gonna show them how persistent I am when I wanted something. I'll be saving then for myself after I bought these stuffs. Gonna be hard this time. ^^

Gonna get out to this blog and start working. (Check soon for the progress...)
