Reviewing my 2012 Goals

Hey! Glad to be back and writing in front of my PC. How's life? Me? Well, it's great so far. I'm into something that will change and aid (I hope) my future. This time let's try to review the goals I set for this year? (Click here for the list.)

If we would try see the list, I will be attaining some of it in a week to 2 months time. These are list number 1, 9, and 10. As of now, I only attained number 8: Earning money online. Actually, I didn't plan this thing but I was just offered ,through email,  a job and  was paid 30USD after the completion. For me its so GREAT! For the first time I earned money online. ^^ Isn't it? Hahaha!

For the rest of the list, hmmmm, I might attain some of it, I assume not all, but still I'm positive that I can accomplish it before the end of the year. How's the progress on your yearly goals?

Muslim-Christian Relationship: Workable or It's Complicated?

I really wonder whether Muslim-Christian relationship works well in reality because after what I witnessed yesterday I feel that Muslim-Christian relationship is very complicated and turns odd. I was riding a jeepney and sat beside a Muslim old man. I believe that he is the only Muslim inside the jeep and the others are either Catholics or in the other branch of Christianity. Personally, that's no big deal then. Everything was normal and calm.
But the calmness of the sea was disturbed when there's a young Christian/Catholic (I suppose) man passenger getting in the jeep. Even he knows there's no vacant seat available, he still wanted to get in. He then sat down between me and the Muslim old man. Without caution, he abruptly sat. So, the old man got slightly mad, conversing to the young man in the Muslim dialect and having a gesture saying that it hurts. Other passengers took it bad. Some said: "Kangil-ad pud anang tigulanga na! Nganong dili mana siya magpalingkod?" while others "Naunsa na siya? Nganong masuko mana siya?!".Of course, an old man, whether a Muslim or a Christian, is so sensitive and might have some aches in his body and might get hurt. It was not the old man's fault! But that wasn't I expected from them. Though the old man is just around, they still continue to barge him with unethical words in low voices.

With despair and disappointment towards the Christian/Catholic passengers, I tried to stare at them in their eyes while having this words running in my head: "Ingana dyud diay mo? Mga mapanghusga! I thought we wanted peace? Dili pajud mo ready to have peace with our Muslim brothers. Get that kind of ideology out of your system!"
How would Christians achieve peace with them even in that little situation we already deal with them ill-mannerly ? I say, no peace will be achieve in that kind of mentality!

As of now, I don't have the power to change those kind of people over-night. What I can do is just to convey what PEACE really is. Lets listen to these songs below:

It's the last...

As I was going home from school, I really thought of buying some Kwek-Kwek. But I remembered something. I just read an article the other day, it was a medical article, that tells how street foods can be so dirty and "attracts" germs too much that may cause some diseases such as Hepatitis. So, it confuses me whether to buy or not. I wanted one but my other half tells me not to. Wanna know how I deal this? hehe.. I will buy one but in on condition: it will be my last kwek-kwek and I will not eat any street foods starting today. Yeah. I did that and promised to myself not to by any street foods any more. It's really hard but I hadve to do or else I will suffer. (Unless its homemade. :D) Oh my. I hope my friends won't tempt me to eat. Hahaha... How many days or months or years I can resist a delicious delicacy such as kwek-kwek? Let's see!

Good evening!

A Hoax, For the Truth

I really never thought of having a list of some good-to-be-true resolutions for this year. For the fact that I can't have it work in my side's favor, not even once,I never again bother to come up with one. but this time, it's different. A resolution, for me, is not just a plain list of activities or chores that you seem so essential for becoming a better person, but it is also one way of addressing the "cobwebs" of life that made your progress, as a person, move slow. So I'd contemplated for a day and came by these resolutions:

First in the list is my problem on procrastination. I've made it already a habit to set aside more important tasks while wasting my time doing nothing. This year, though I might consume a truckload of E.F.F.O.R.T, I wanted it to be fixed and to learn, as much as possible, the art of prioritizing things with a good thrust of time management.

Second, I will adopt a daily routine that will aid my fluency in the English language. As a student that studies the language, I ahve to manifest mastery and exhibit competence when it comes to communication, both written and oral. I wanted to do the routine till I guarantee excellence in English. But before that, my goal as for this moment is to attain the quality of an English graduate expected by our department.

Lastly, I wanted to try things that I haven't tried inside the academe. Things that will boldly enhance my personality though engaging to activities inside the institute. I don't want to waste my four years in college just studying and waiting to rot.

There you go! Three of the most important resolutions had just been laid. This should serve as my guide throughout the year and hoping this hoax, most of the time, to be fulfilled.

It is also important to not waste money, to save everywhere I can.

"So how's class?"

Class? Oh, well. It's fine. Expected too much (since it's the first day, I should really have.) Our professor just walked in the room, checked the attendance (as usual), and was asking what will we gonna do. Hahaha... yeah, right. We didn't have a class, just having a little chitchat.

(bow)

[My other self: Y U MAKE THIS POST AND JUST TELLING US YOU DON'T HAVE CLASS?]

Women are bizarre creatures! Yeah!

When Stephen Hawking, the world renowned physicist, was asked during his 70th birthday what he thinks about most he answered women. Though no reason was stated why, I personally think that the physicist is actually right. There are a number of reasons why but I would like to state some:
  • Most women wants affection but when given they refuse. o.O
  • They are very good in reverse psychology. (E.g. They say you leave but once you do, they cry.) (weird?)
Who agrees with me? hehe...

Do you really think women are mysterious in nature?

In the contary...

This thing actually bothers mind for a year now and I'm not gonna easing myself out without dealing with this right. I am currently studying English in a university but after 2 years I feel that my course doesn't suites me. Want to know why? (1) I can't speak English the way student in the language are expected to and (2) I feel bad about it. I'm trying all possible avenues to "cure" such frustration but until now I haven't felt the progress it made. *sigh* Maybe I have to push more effort and wait for Time to fasten every loose ends. I hope I can clear this thing out before I graduated with the degree and to speak English fluently by the time I'll be working.

Grant me luck. :(
